10 Days, 9 Nights The Big Migration Crossing

DAY 2: THE HOTEL-ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK TO THE HOTEL.

 After breakfast drive to Arusha  National park with lunch boxes  for  a day trip ,

This is a small park ,major part being Mt.Meru ,is a rain forest hosting Cape Buffaloes, Elephants ,Zebra, Antelopes,Colobus ,Baboons and blue monkeys  also birds,flamingos, make hiking for 2 hours  with an armed ranger . Game drives along momela lakes .Evening drive back to the hotel for  dinner and overnight.

Arusha National Park is very close to Arusha  city .

DAY 3: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK.

 After breakfast drive to Tarangire National park with lunch boxes  for a full day game drive.The park  is a home to African Elephants and Gigantic baobab trees.    July -October are the best time since all animals  concentrate at Tarangire river basin ,the park is famous for over 400species of Birds, cats such as Lions, Leopard and Cheetah.

Different types of Antelopes can be spotted .

DAY 4: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK TO LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

 After breakfast drive through the great Eastern Valley to Lake Manyara National park another small park with total of 330sq km ,220sqkm be a Lake and only 110sqkm be a rain forest.The lake is home for water birds, Migratory and non migratory,you can see African Elephant , Giraffe,Antelopes,  Lion, cape buffaloes and Hippos.

Dinner and overnight at Peak hotel.Dinner,Breakfast and lunch box.

 DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.

 After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro crater rim descent in the caldera for a half day game drive .This is the second caldera in the world after the one in Japan covered with water , it hosts over 250,000 different types of wildlife from the big 5 to different species of birds.Is only place where Black Rhino can be spotted the endemic species in the world.Ascend the crater rim after lunch drive to through the plains of Serengeti.

 DAY 6: FULL DAY IN SERENGETI.

 Full day in central Serengeti ,for early morning game drive back to the hotel for breakfast , morning  game drive back to the hotel for lunch , afternoon and evening game drive till sunset.

 DAY 7: CENTRAL SERENGETI TO NORTHERN SERENGETI.

 After breakfast drive to the Northern park of Serengeti -Kogatende  for Migration Crossing .Migrations are followed by predators and scavengers.

DAY 8: FULL DAY IN SERENGETI.

 Full day following migration while crossing Mara river.Meals and overnight as day 7.

DAY 9: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO KARATU TOWN.

 After breakfast drive  through serengeti game enroute  , passing over crater rim to Karatu town

 DAY 10: KARATU TOWN TO LAKE EYASI( HADZABE) TO ARUSHA.

 Very early departure to Bushmen land -Lake Eyasi (Hunters & Gatherers)Men goes for hunting small animals and women goes for collecting fruits .

After morning activities Bushmen will sing and dance , also practice aiming on baobab tree using bow and arrow , later visit datoga tribe ( Black smith) who makes arrows, spears and bracelets from used  iron,aluminium and copper materials .

Drive to Arusha , continue to the airport for home bound flight.
