Day 1: Arrival Tanzania Land at Kilimanjaro Airport.

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro airport in Tanzania, our driver will be waiting to pick you up and take You to the green mountain hotel. After settling in and taking a shower, it is recommended that you take some time to relax and recover from your long flight.You will then meet your trip guide, who will provide you with a briefing and check your mountain gear and bicycles to ensure that you are prepared for the upcoming adventure. If you find that you are missing any necessary gear, our store offers the option to rent or hire equipment . Please note that the green mountain hotel is recommended for the first and last night of your stay, but we can offer various accommodation options depending on your preferences, ranging from basic to luxurious. The choice is yours.

Day 2: Kilema Gate – Horombo Camp | 30km

After breakfast pick up from the hotel and transferred to Marangu gate for registration and permit payments . After all processes been completed you will be
transferred to Kilema gate ,this is the starting point of climbing by bike, each climber will carry a lunch box,while riding in the rain forest you will enjoy green forest with flowers and wildlife such as Colobus monkey,Blue monkey and birds.Dinner and overnight at Horombo camp.

Meals;Evening tea,dinner and breakfast.

Nb:The porters(mountain soldiers )will leave one day earlier through Marangu route with all camping equipment’s and food and meeting them at Horombo camp.

Day 3: Horombo Acclimatization | 10km

This day is going to be used for acclimatization which is a very important part to climb Kilimanjaro by bike. After breakfast take a leisurely ride up to the zebra rock near Mawenzi base camp through alpine desert before returning to the Horombo camp.This extra day provides an excellent opportunity to acclimatize to the altitude and gain a better understanding of the mountain weather conditions. Taking advantage of this day can significantly increase your chances of successfully reaching the summit of mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 4: Horombo Camp – Kibo Camp

After a hearty breakfast, we will begin our cycling from the Horombo camp towards the kibo camp,where we will establish our base camp in anticipation of the final summit attempt. During this challenging climb, we will be passing by the final water point and through a garden of towering senecios at an elevation of 4130m. As we push forward, we will reach the saddle point, which offers magnificent views of both the kibo and Mawenzi peaks. Staying hydrated is crucial, so we will ensure to drink plenty of water throughout the cycling, and during the early dinner, we will consume a sufficient amount of water to prepare our bodies for the high altitude. We will spend the night at the Kibo camp, where we will rest and regain our energy before embarking on the final leg of the ascent to the summit in the middle of the night.

Day 5: Kibo Camp – Summit – Horombo Camp

The climbing team will wake you up at midnight with a warm cup of tea and light snacks to energize you for the long hike and cycling ahead. Take your time to dress warmly and pack your day pack,as you will be trekking in the darkness for 5-7 hours, relying on headlamps to light your way.Slowly and steadily, you will make your way to gilman’s point (5685m/18652ft), and then onward to Stella point,where we will take our bike from porters and start riding on the crater ring to the summit – Uhuru peak. Here, you will witness an incredible sunrise and take in the breathtaking panoramic view. We will take some time to celebrate and capture the moment with photographs before beginning the descent back to Kibo camp. After a two-hour rest and brunch, we will continue the descent to the Horombo camp for our overnight stay. This will undoubtedly be a challenging and unforgettable day of your life.

Day 6: Horombo Camp – Kilema Gate – Moshi 30km

After breakfast we will make our final ride down through across moorland and through rain forest to Kilema gate,from Kilema gate you will be transferred to Marangu gate for check out and continue to the hotel in Moshi town.
*Riding bicycles is optional from Kilema gate to Marangu gate to the hotel

Day 7: Departure From Moshi.

Have last night at the hotel or transfer to the airport for a home bound flight or connect to another destination.
