About this tour

This tour will take you to the northern Tanzania safari destinations. You will visit Tarangire, lake Manyara, and Ngorongoro Crater. Day 1: Arrival Tanzania Land at Kilimanjaro Airpot.

When you arrive at Kilimanjaro airport in Tanzania, our driver will be waiting to pick you up and take you to Green Mountain Hotel in Arusha city.   Once you settled in and had a chance to shower, you will meet your trip guide for a briefing   for the upcoming adventure.

Please note that the hotel we recommend for the first and last night is just one option. We offer various accommodations, from basic to luxurious, so you can choose the one that best suits your preferences.

MEALS :Dinner, Breakfast  and Lunch box.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8am and take you to a very special national park. Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zones. The park is particularly known for the abundance of Ancient Baobab trees (the largest trees in the continent) which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river of the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and, of course, elephants. In fact, the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. The lunch area is fascinating, boasting an observatory with amazing views to the river and wildlife (with good chances of seeing a hunt while having your picnic). Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro crater with lunch box for a full day game drive.. *Option. Olduvai Gorge is a historical site where the old fossils of Homo sapiens and Zinjathropus were discovered in 1954 by Dr Leakey.
At Laitoli site the first upright human foot prints were discovered estimated 3.5million years ago.
In addition different all wildlife bones were discovered in the valley by scientist who are still under going the discovery from University of Dare salaam with collaboration with other universities from USA and Spain under Archives department.
Shifting sand with-magnet thrown out from active volcano mountain oldonnyo lengai [mountain of god in Maasai-tribe] many years ago moving in half moon circle heading to lake victoria .

Day 4 :Lake Eyasi   to Peak Hotel.

Very early wake up for the Bushmen(Hadzabe) activities (Hunters & Gatherers)Men goes for hunting small animals  using bow and arrows and women goes for collecting fruits .

After morning activities Bushmen will sing and dance , also practice aiming on baobab tree using bow and arrow , later visit datoga tribe ( Black smith) who makes arrows, spears and bracelets from used  iron,aluminium and copper materials .

Return to the hotel for breakfast ,depart to Karatu to visit Iraqw tribe .

Day 5: Lake Natron

After breakfast drive to Mto wa Mbu,for walking in Banana farms ,and riding bicycles ,after lunch drive to Lake Natron. Dinner and overnight at Lengai lodge*option, for those who wants to climb Oldoinyo Lengai -The mountain of God believed by Maasai tribe (active volcano mountain), drive to the foot of the mountain and hiking to the top for about 4 hours and descend next day in the morning.

Day 6: Lake Natron to Arusha.

After a wake up call with coffee and cookies, you will take early morning walks to the lake flats to observe flamingos and nests. Located at the base of Africa’s only active volcano (Oldonyo Lengai) and between Ngorongoro Highlands and Serengeti plains, Lake Natron lies in a dry and desolated area also inhabited by Maasai. Untouched, distant, mysterious, this Lake is one of the most alkaline lakes in the world and special shelter to millions of tiny crustaceans, attracting literally thousands of Lesser flamingos. After breakfast, trek to local waterfalls. Beautiful and surrounded by lush vegetation, these waterfalls break the yellow coloured pattern found in the Savannah. Transfer to Arusha continue to Kilimanjaro airport for home bound flight or *option* connect to Zanzibar for the beach holiday.
