About This Tour

This is a Half Day Tour that offers the chance to witness the dolphins in their natural habitat. The tour begins with an early morning pick-up at around 6 am from your hotel, as this is the time when the dolphins are most active. You will then be transferred to Kizimkazi Village in the south of the island, which is not only known for its dolphins but also for its 12th century mosque – the earliest evidence of Islam in East Africa.

Upon arrival at Kizimkazi, you will board a small boat and travel for 20 minutes to the area where the dolphins are usually spotted. With the assistance of an expert guide, you will be able to observe and swim with these beautiful and intelligent creatures. You might even have the opportunity to play with them, as some dolphin families can have up to 15-20 members. The clear and fresh water is perfect for a dip while enjoying this once in a lifetime experience with your loved ones.

After two hours of dolphin sighting, the boat will return to the village. This unforgettable experience will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.
