On this page you’ll find the most popular accommodation that our climbers use for before and after their trek and/or safari. Just open every box you’ll find photos and description of the hotel in question. You can click on every box to gate information about the hotels.
Note that if there is somewhere else in Arusha or Moshi that you want to stay, but which isn’t listed here, then that’s not a problem – we can still book it for you.
For the exact prices of the hotels, we’ll send you a sheet of room rates once you have booked your trek, so you can work out which hotel is most suitable for your purposes.

SAFARI ACCOMMODATION
Budget Camping
Camping is not only a great way to experience Africa up close, but it can also be an affordable way to visit the amazing national parks of East Africa. Budget safaris are suitable for anyone who enjoys camping and outdoor activities, with itineraries that cover all areas of interest and use high-quality 4×4 land rovers and cruisers with viewing roof hatches. Camping equipment is carried by an additional car when necessary, otherwise there is enough room in our safari vehicles for camping supplies.
During the camping trip, a Safari cook prepares three delicious meals per day, and for larger groups, camp crews may be available. Accommodations are mostly modern, spacious two-person tents with a sewn-in ground sheet, a comfortable foam mattress, and clients bring their own sleeping bags. We use public national park campsites with simple sanitary facilities.
For a camping safari, guests should bring their own sleeping bags, headlight flash torch, and warm clothes.\
Tented Camps
Tented camps are the more recommended for those who can afford it. So if you’re looking for a more comfortable wilderness camping experience, luxury camping is also available in Tanzania. Luxury tented camps have self-contained tents with all the necessary amenities like hot showers and solar-powered lights before guests arrive. This option is recommended for older travelers and families with young children. Luxury camping also offers the advantage of being closer to migratory animals.
Safari lodges
For those seeking a more luxurious experience, lodge safaris are the equivalent of western deluxe hotels. Lodge chains like Serena and Sopa, as well as privately owned lodges and camps, offer a high standard of service and can be arranged for both basic and luxury accommodations. These lodges and camps are located in almost all parks and reserves, and safari land cruisers and land rovers with viewing roof hatches are used for transportation. All accommodations can be provided on a single, double, or triple basis, with a maximum of two people per tent for budget camping.
